You will then be taken on the main highway between Jerusalem and Jericho in the Judean Desert. You will stop to overlook the Inn of the Good Samaritan mentioned in the New Testament's parable of the Good Samaritan and the famous roadside sea level marker. From there, enjoy a view of the Jordan Valley where Jesus was baptized.

You will then visit the Baptism Site (In Arabic named: El-Maghtas) on the Jordan River that is one of the most important sites for the Christians where John the Baptist lived and Jesus was baptized. This area is not only associated with Christianity but also related to the three divine religions: Jewish, Christian, and Islam with the ascension of the Prophet Elijah into heaven.

Upon arrival in Jericho, the oldest city in the world, look for the sycamore tree that Zacchaeus, the tax collector, climbed to get a better view of Jesus when he was there on his way to Jerusalem. Above Jericho is the view of Mount of Temptation, where Jesus, after praying and fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, was tempted by the devil (cable car not included). At this halfway point of the tour, stop for lunch (included) in a restaurant in Jericho open buffet.

Continue to the Dead Sea, the salt lake located 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level. Enjoy around two hours to relax on a mineral beach and float in the salt-rich waters. If you wish, follow your ‘swim’ with a therapeutic mud bath and perhaps purchase some Dead Sea skin care products (own expense) at duty-free prices. Back aboard your coach, relax on your return journey. On route, trace some of the route of the old Roman road to Jerusalem and enjoy views of the ancient city of Jericho. Your tour ends with a drop-off at your Jerusalem hotel.
