The Lotus Temple is a Bahá'í House of Worship which was completed in 1986. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent and has become a prominent attraction in the city. The Lotus Temple has won numerous architectural awards. Like all Bahá'í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad "petals" arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall which reaches a height of slightly over 40 metres.

Next you will visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras of Delhi. It is associated the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. It was first built as a small temple by Sikh General Sardar Bhagel Singh in 1783, who supervised the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in the same year, during the reign of Mughal Emperor, Shah Alam II. The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, a school and an art gallery.
